Jade Tara Walker was born on the 7th January 1993, to Paul and Tina Walker. Jade went to Spinfield primary school in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Jade then went to Icknield Community College in Watlington Oxford, where she made many Friends and was adored by the teachers and head master. Jade led a very active life, she had a go at sailing, She was a complete swimmer and achieved all of her swimming certificates and badges by the age of ten. Jade tried her hand at horse riding. Jade went to Orlando America and swam with the dolphins in 2006. Jade went on many adventure holidays, making many new friends. Jade worked as a volunteer at our local dog rescue centre, Most of this Jade did while she was ill. At the age of 12&half she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukeamia just 4 months after her dad had been diagnosed with lung cancer. They used to compare notes on what chemo they were having and understood the side effects. When Jades's dad died in 2007, it made Jade more determined to keep fighting her illness. She had reached remission once, but then it just kept coming back. Jade had fought her illness for exactly five and a half years, and 2 days before her 18th birthday, Jade finally lost her battle and left us on 5th January 2011 at home in her bed where Jade wanted to be.
